Diller Family Farms Story

For 6 generations, Dillers have raised cattle in Northwest Oklahoma. Over 130 years the Dillers have developed a strong herd of cattle to produce home grown, quality beef. This is our story.

In 1893, Jacob Diller and his son, Aaron Diller, participated in the Cherokee Strip Land Run, staking their claim to a homestead of their own just west of Nash, Oklahoma. Aaron got to work and built a sod house to start a family in. In 1900, Aaron had a son of his own, George Virgil Diller, (Virgil). Virgil grew up on the farm and eventually moved there after having children for himself. In 1930, George Aaron Diller was born. After enlisting in the Air Force, George was honorably discharged to help run the farm after Virgil’s passing. The homestead had seen some upgrades since the time of the sod house Aaron built. George lived in a two story house on the homestead until it burned down. As a result, George and his wife, Idella, moved into town. George’s boys, Stanley and Roger, now continue the century old Diller cattle operation.

Today, Diller Family Farms is working to provide you with Oklahoma grown steaks, hamburger, and beef sticks.
